A great place for that perfect BFF week full of fun. Not only was the condo exceptionally clean and comfortable but the entire surrounding property was the same. We definitely loved our stay.

This was our first stay in this unit but it more than exceeded our expectations. I have stayed in other units previously owned by The Richardson's and again they treated us like their Best Buds! There are no surprises in this unit. .everything was as listed on this site. The outdoor space may have been our favorite since I took my 84 year old Mom with us. The Furnishings on the patio are super comfortable and everyone enjoyed sitting around the large table playing dominoes and watching the surf come in. This is a great smaller property nestled between a couple other similar properties making access to the beach easy and not as congested. If you're looking for a great unit owned by some wonderful owners this is it!

Loved Loved my week at Romar Place. Large wrap around balcony with beautiful table/chairs was my happy place. I don't think you can find anyplace better with 3 well decorated bedrooms, 3 nice bathrooms, and a living area that was just so colorful and happy. Well equipped kitchen....what else can I say! Thanks Diann for a week I desperately needed to recharge my batteries. Loved the indoor and outdoor pools and hot tub. And of course the beautiful beach! See a pic I took! I even found a mermaid on the beach.

We have stayed in Diane's condo for approximately 10-12 years now, and don't ever want to stay anywhere else. The condo is always clean and ready for our arrival, is very well equipped with everything we could possibly need, and Diane is a pleasure to work with.. The condo amenities are well maintained, and of course, the beach is wonderful!

We have renting from Diann for 8 years now & I wouldn't change a thing. We look forward to going every summer & Romar Place doesn't disappoint. It is like our home away from home. My family has grown since the first time we vacationed here & our kiddos love this place. We will continue to make our summer destination Orange Beach & for sure Romar Place :)

This is one of my absolute favorite familes. This was their sixth spring break at 206 Romar Place and they already have their 2019 reservation in place. They travel with several other families from their area and they all stay in Romar Place. What could be more fun?

We have stayed in a lot of condos in the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area. We stopped looking when we found Romar 206. It has become our home away from home. Diann is a great owner for starters. She’s always upgrading the condo as well. There’s new furniture on the deck and in the master bedroom this year. The location is perfect. In the large condo units, you spend half your time waiting on an elevator. Romar 206 is steps away from the indoor pool, the outdoor pool and the beach. The only time you need to use the elevator is when you’re taking your stuff up. The condo is impeccable. The location is fantastic with great restaurants and attractions nearby. There’s no place we would rather vacation.

Our family, 4 adults and 2 college granddaughters enjoyed our stay in Orange Beach in March 2018. There was plenty of room and comfortable furniture. We were lucky to have good weather and loved the beach time. Being on the second floor was great, didn't have to take elevator every time we ran out to beach or car to travel places. I highly recommend this condo. The owner is very responsive to any issues that may arise!! We had a great time!!??

We had four adults and three children and we had plenty of room. Nice furnishings and beds were comfortable. The three bathrooms were wonderful and the huge patio that overlooks the beach is plenty big for everyone. The beach was wonderful and on the one day that we did have rain, the indoor pool kept us occupied. The washer and dryer were a huge plus so I didn't have to go home to a mountain of laundry, plus you can pack lighter and wash during the week. We had a wonderful week making priceless memories!!! Very nice condo with a nice price!!!

This was our 3rd time to stay at Romar Place....we LOVE the condo and especially all the new updates...sitting on the balcony in the mornings is wonderful. The owner is so easy to work with & you always know exactly what to expect. We went later this year than usual and Orange Beach is beautiful in September and not crowded at all...If you're looking for a beautiful condo and working with a wonderful owner, this is definitely the place. Thanks again for a great and relaxing vacation with our kids and grandkids....

BEST PLACE EVER!!!!!


My husband and I try to make it to the beach at least once a year and Orange Beach is our alltime place to go. We would NEVER dream of staying anywhere else but Romar Place for several reasons. #1--Love Diann! She is super organized and you NEVER have to wonder about anything. #2 Always very clean and wonderfully stocked with everything you could possibly need! #3 Great convenient location for shopping, movies, entertainment, etc. #4 24/7 security that actually makes rounds and checks on things. #5 Beachfront and wonderful swimming pool. #6 Very quiet, corner condo with large wrap-around deck. #7 If Romar Place is booked, Diann has another condo at Pelican Point. Well, I could go on but I think you get the picture. Thank you Diann for always being sure that things are perfect for our time away from the demands of everyday life! We appreciate you so much!!!

This my favorite place to vacation. The condo is beautiful and clean and in the best location. My family and I have been going to 206 romar place for at least 10 years now. the owner is one of the nicest people I know. I would say if you don't stay here you are missing out.

Condo was great before the 2016 renovations ... now it is beyond great.

This is the best place ever,,, we were able to get reservations after someone had cancelled.
I called Diann and after a brief conversation she said its yours. She met me and gave me a excellent information packet, it contained rules about the complex, numbers to call in case we needed anything, the best places to eat, and much more. The condo itself is exactly like the pictures, very clean, and the bed are so comfortable. Being on the second floor was great the stairs were just around the corner from the unit and the garbage drop was right there also. Once down the short flight of stairs the indoor pool was at the bottom left and to the right was the walk way to the outdoor pool and beach. The kitchen was well equiped with cooking utensiles. My favorite thing she had a griddle.... I love cooking bacon in the mornings and you can cook it all at the same time. The comples itself is well maintained and the loation is great. We will be staying with her again....

What a wonderful condo!! Beautiful new granite in the kitchen and all three bathrooms. And what a view from the huge wrap a round balcony. Diann was so easy to work with. I felt like I had known her for years. We will be back

This is the second time our family has stayed in this wonderful place. The access to the beach is quick and easy, and the view from the main balcony is stunning. This is a clean, up-to-date place with a lot of personal touches. Our kids loved the beach themed bedroom and the bright colors. We loved the whole thing. The added benefit is that the owner of this property makes you feel like you are one of the family. It's a true home away from home and you leave wanting to come back.

I'm really very hesitant about writing this review....Not because this place is not 5 star, but it takes months in advance to rent it. Our family has been staying here for about 10 years and do not even consider anywhere else. With it being on the second floor, truly, there is no need for the elevators. It's the end unit and I consider it the best one in the complex. If you expect clean, friendly, beautiful and fully furnished - you should consider staying here. The kitchen has anything you need to cook anything you want. If you like to cook out, the grills are right in front of the balcony. If the guys forget anything, you can just hand it down.
We love the pools. The indoor pool is where our granddaughter learned to swim and the hot tub is wonderful after a day at the beach building sandcastles.

We spent spring break at Romar Place and once again had a terrific time. This condo has become like a home away from home for us. We go to the beach at least once a year. We stayed at various Phoenixes for year, then the Lighthouse. The big complexes are okay but just going to and from the pool or beach can be a hassle because you walk down a long corridor then wait on a crowded elevator. This unit is steps from both pools and a short stroll to the beach. It's a short flight of stairs so the elevator hassle is non-existent. The room is always clean, impeccably decorated and Diann is the most awesome owner we've ever stayed with. Once you've been with her a few times, you're a "beach bud" and an old friend. Orange Beach has good restaurants and my son's favorite attractions, Fat Daddy's Arcade and Adventure Island, are just down the street. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the large balcony overlooking the pool and the Gulf. We love starting our beach days with breakfast on the balcony.

Our family loves staying at Diane's condo at Romar Place. Family drive in from as far away as Texas to stay here, and we enjoy all the conveniences of home while at the beach. The condo is beautifully furnished with annual updates in appliances, mattresses and/or furniture. Nothing is worn or shabby. The corner unit affords wonderful breezes as well as spectacular views of sunrises and sunsets. The second floor unit enables us to walk directly up one flight of stairs, avoiding the elevators. The smaller size of the complex minimizes crowds on the beach, even during peak season. Simply stated, we love staying here and have no desire to look elsewhere for a vacation condo.

We really had a wonderful time at the condo, the rooms were large and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was big enough for several of us to work around each other cooking. The dining area was very nice, enough room for everyone to sit around the dining room table eating or playing cards, which we did several nights! Very easy to slip down to the beach and spend the day. We really loved it and hated to leave! The condo is very easy to get to with easy and short access to stores and restaurants! Loved getting up early in the morning to sit on the balcony with my cup of coffee! Diann was a wonderful person to talk with and rent from and we will definitely be going back to her condo!

My family is having the most wonderful Holiday here in Diann's adorable condo..!!! We celebrated a family birthday as well as Mother's Day in "style"..!!! We are really enjoying all the comfy beds, furniture, kitchen, great flat screen tv's, large bathrooms, and living area..!!! You have to see this unit in person to appreciate all the extras, and the color scheme that runs throughout the entire unit....everything flows perfectly together!!! The condo has everything you could possibly need, and the entire Condominium Complex is absolutely spotless and so well kept up..!!! Our stay here has been so enjoyable, and we have felt so at home here that we have already booked this unit again for the Fall. I wouldn't hesitate to give this condo unit an Excellent + rating and I'll definitely recommend it to all my friends and family. "FuN in the Sun" is just a call away...!!!!
