Grayt Gulf Getaway, 30A-Beaches-South Walton, Florida Vacation Rental by Owner

Let's start with the owner. Very responsive and accommodating. The house was absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are massive, the community is quiet and clean. Our family had 3 adults and 5 children and still had plenty of space. Kitchen is fully stocked with nice dishware, the standalone ice maker came in very handy! Close enough to Seaside and Rosemary, but far enough away that you can enjoy peace and quiet in the evenings. Highly recommend the home and the owner. Great Experience.

We chose this home for the floor plan as it was perfect for us as grandparents in room downstairs and our two adult children & spouses in 2 rooms upstairs with a bunk room for their 5 little ones. Every bedroom has it's own bath. The house was pristine and fully supplied. The owner was very quick to respond to all our questions. It was an easy walk down the private pier to the beautiful beach. We would rent here again!

Our family had a fantastic time at The Preserve! The home was wonderful in every way! Our family had plenty of room to spread out when desired, while also having ample space to gather together for meals and game time at the large kitchen table and the living room area. The neighborhood was quiet, friendly, and the home was in a great location. The walk to the beach was pleasant and easy, especially with the furnished beach equipment. Thomas provided excellent communication and even checked in with us several times during out stay. Truly a Grayt Gulf Getaway!

No negatives whatsoever. Spring Break at its finest. We travelled with 3 families (10 people total; 4 teens ages 16-18) and this home exceeded all expectations. Spacious bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, incredible kitchen (fully stocked) and dining area. We also really enjoyed all of the porches this home has to offer. Wonderful washer/dryer on second floor was very helpful. Location in the neighborhood (incredibly quiet) to the walkway to the beach, pools and tennis courts was an added bonus. This home is more beautiful in person and we would be so fortunate to stay here again. Within walking distance (in addition to the beach) are some of our favorite things to see and do in the area: Red Fish Taco, Blue Mountain Creamery, Blue Mabel, Grayton Beach State Park, Grayton (to take the free shuttle into Seaside or to dine at Red Bar and Charingos). We had our bikes delivered and picked up by Big Daddy’s Bike Shop and did the beach chair setup by La Dolce Vida (west boundary) near Sanctuary at Redfish. The communication with the home owner was efficient and kind. We have vacationed in this area for many, many years and could not recommend this home and community enough. Thank you for sharing your home! All 10 of us (yes, teens too) were able to have the space we needed to relax, connect, beach and repeat!

We’ve rented many beach houses with our extended family of 10 over the years, and this home ranks as one of the best. The home is clean and the included amenities made the stay much more pleasant and convenient. The abundance of beach towels and bath towels was appreciated along with the beach chairs, wagon, and umbrellas. The kitchen is well-equipped. The owner is by far the best we’ve rented from as far as responsiveness/communication. We’ve rented several places along 30A over the years and very much prefer the less crowded, more peaceful locations - this provided just that. The ability to walk to the beach is important for us, and this home is definitely within reasonable walking distance from the beach. The neighborhood is nice and quiet as well. Blue Mountain Creamery is also within walking distance.

Great Vacation Home! Great location with easy access to the surrounding area. The house was VERY clean and well equipped, and looked exactly like the pictures. It was a short walk to the beach, which was never overly crowded. Thomas was very responsive and so very helpful! He took the extra care to check in with us after check-in to make sure all was good, as well as during our stay. We will definitely book this home again!

Superb in every way - beautifully maintained, 4 like new bedrooms with multiple decks and screened in porch; big family sized dining table, well equipped kitchen, big screen tv, equipped with everything you need for the beach; add in 2 pools, tennis and table tennis, private beach access - outstanding!

Very good communication with the owner. Beautiful and convenient location to what we love to do. Very kid friendly with a fenced yard, screened porch, heated pool. All had a great time!

Our family group of 10 enjoyed a wonderful stay and appreciated all the practical and beautiful details of this home. We cooked quite a bit and enjoyed the well equipped kitchen. The access to the beach included a shaded boardwalk through a nature preserve, which was quite special. We also enjoyed the variety of options available on the property and close by, including swimming, biking, tennis, as well as local ice cream and bakery shops. The owner was very helpful to communicate details about the property before we came and quickly responded to any questions that arose during our stay.

Our family and friends enjoyed this beautiful home immensely! It was just as portrayed on the listing — actually even better! We cooked, hung out, did puzzles, went to the beach (super close walk on the private path), chilled on the screened-in porch (really relaxing while it rained), LAUGHED a lot, and enjoyed all the area has to offer. We spent time on the exquisite beaches in the area, dined at great restaurants, played golf, shopped, jet-skiied, and would have done more of all the above if the weather was a little more cooperative! The home is in a perfect location — sort of away from the crazy crowds of Seaside / Watercolor but still close enough if you want to bike there. The location was ideal for us and we enjoyed to unique vibe of Grayton and Santa Rosa. The owner was truly amazing in his communication and checked with us before, during, and after our visit to ensure everything was just right — and it was beyond just right. We would most definitely recommend this home as the perfect place to spend vacation with family and friends.

My family and I were VERY lucky to find this property when we were looking for a beach house at the last minute on 30A.  The neighborhood is amazing and the house is even better!  Everything was incredibly clean, the layout was perfect for our family of four and could have easily accommodated many more (even another family)!  The walk to the beach is easy and it was nice to have pool options as well. 
 
The welcome packet was perfect and made everything incredibly simple from connecting to the wi-fi, setting up the TV’s, ordering take out, finding rental bikes and the grocery store.  We could not have felt more at home and we can’t wait to get back for a longer stay!

I highly recommend this beautiful furnished and updated home for a family or several couples in a secured gated community. Each bedroom designed with it’s own bathroom.  
Bunk bed room was excellent for our 5 grandchildren including their own television. Clean and convenient community pools. Having secured beach access made for a private beach and non crowded surrounding. We will definitely rent this home again.

Our family of 12 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Grayt Gulf Getaway. The house was spotless upon arrival, the beds were comfortable, and the layout lent itself to privacy and plenty of space for a large group. The short walk to the beach is delightful and the neighborhood quaint. We especially loved that this tucked away area of Grayton Beach seemed far less congested than other parts of 30A. It felt like a true retreat. Owner was very responsive and helpful. We'll be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Grayt Gulf Getaway. The house was well equipped, spacious and very clean.  The private beach area is beautiful and not crowded. We can’t wait to go back and stay here again! Highly recommend!

The house was great, everything was as described and the cleanest house we have ever stayed at on 30A.  The private beach access was such a fun walk with the kids and all the gear at the house made it that much easier.  Your home blessed our family for the week, thank you!

Grayt Gulf Getaway was the perfect space for two families to get together for a long weekend. The house was very clean, spacious enough so that everyone could have plenty of space, and the location was fantastic. Plenty of restaurants nearby, just a short walk to the beach, and easy access to get to Destin or Seaside quickly. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Our family really enjoyed our vacation to Santa Rosa Beach.  Sept is the month to go.  Beach was beautiful but water was a little stirred up from the hurricane that went through Florida the week before.  Kids enjoyed the pools and house was clean and perfect for our families needs.  Highly recommend.  

We stayed at the Grayt Gulf Getaway at the end of September. It was a wonderful vacation home. The house was very clean & the rooms were spacious. I would recommend this vacation home to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

This house was pefect for our girls trip.  The rooms are larger than the pictures showed and the community was quiet for a relaxing week.  Shopping was good in Seaside (we wore masks and almost everyone else was too).  Ready to go back in 2021.
