Beach Escape, Destin, Florida Vacation Rental by Owner

Management was very responsive to two issues that we encountered. The toaster in the kitchen was not working properly and they provided a new toaster for replacement. Secondly, there was a malfunction in the legs of one of the chairs in the living area and they responded with someone to repair very quickly. Overall the kitchen was very well stocked with utensils, etc. and the appliances were all top-notch. That was much appreciated.

Breathe Easy made everything easy from day 1. Enjoyed the condo, quick walk to the beach, and the free perks that were added. Everyone had a great time! The only thing that I had a problem with was the lighting in the spare bedroom. Need a light fixture.

I can't say enough good things about our condo. I am a total clean freak and the level of cleanliness in the condo was amazing!! We had such a good time and the small things like having a chain on the door and a key pad entry was so nice and made us feel very safe. The bed was so comfy and the short walk to the private beach was stellar! We can't wait to book with them again. It was nice to not have to worry and to be able to do what we came to do, relax!! Thank you guys for everything and making this trip one for the books!

Location is great. Condo is as pictured. It was a little different renting from a company instead of an individual. The kitchen could use an upgrade and I thought the water wasn't very hot. I think better bedding would be nice with extra blankets. I brought one from home so it was good. Overall the condo was good. The grounds was maintained very well. It was roomy for us 4.

Had an absolutely amazing time. Place was perfect for the 6 of us. The kitchen counter and cabinets are a bit outdated but still functional. Location was great!

Ocean has never been more beautiful.

And it was fantastic!! We had an amazing time! The unit was kid friendly, with a fire stick to access all his fave TV shows when not at the beach. There was plenty of cookwear/utensils if you don’t want to eat out everyday. The beach was a short walk, probably 200 feet or so. You do have to walk across the road, but being on a scenic hwy, that was easy and safe with a 3 YO. There was excellent communication from the staff. Check-in and check-out process was extremely easy and smooth. It was awesome that the unit came with the beach service. We were able to get great chairs right up front everyday! I liked that it is more on the Miramar Beach side, a little further away from the huge crowds. The unit is closed to tons of restaurants either walking distance or very short driving distance. We ate at Kenny-Ds twice during our stay! The only minor complaint I had was that the pool was closed for the last two days of our stay due to maintenance. Of course, that was no fault of the condo-owners. We will definitely book this VRBO again next time we go to Destin!

We really enjoyed our condo and customer service! It’s located right near the beach with a few bars and restaurants just a walking distance, which was very convenient. The place was exactly as advertised, clean, nice layout, spacious enough for 3-4 adults and a small doggie, and it had everything we needed! Washer and Dryer in the condo is definitely a huge plus, especially when you are on a beach vacation! One king bed in one room and two queen beds in another room was super convenient, you rarely get beds big enough to host 3-4 adults and don’t feel like you are in the summer camp. First floor and sliding doors on a patio made it very easy for walking in and out and especially convenient for walking our dog out when she needed to! But what we loved the most is a Customer Service! We travel a lot, and this is probably the best customer service we ever had! Thank you Breath Easy Rentals for making this experience so memorable and enjoyable! We will definitely be back!!!

The perfect place to enjoy the beautiful beach and the activities of Destin. The place was clean and well equipped. Easy access to the beach, and the beach chairs and umbrella provided was a big plus. The walk to the beach was about 2 to 3 minutes away. We will definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay in 12A there was plenty of room for 4 kids and 2 adults. The kitchen had a great variety of pots, pans, utensils, and different types of drinking glasses that you could think of in it to help with your stay. I liked the sliding glass door to the patio off the main bedroom. The place was very clean and decorated very nice. The pool is pretty close to the condo also. A very short walk to the beach also! We will definitely stay again!

It was a very nice property and was very pretty inside. Beds were comfortable and we were provided with anything we would’ve needed, the inside of the house was very clean and organized. Everything worked great and we didn’t have any problems with appliances, there was a TV in both rooms and living room that both had many channels. There were many things to do near by and we were able to walk to a few restaurants.We we’re also very close to the beach! 😊

Great location across the street from the beach and Captain Dave’s. Our place was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Full kitchen, family room, and two spacious bedrooms with bath.

The internet was in and out when we first arrived. On day 4 of our trip the power flicker and the internet went out after that. We told the property mangers but they didn't come fix it. For my family it wasn't a real big deal but if you must have internet it could be.

My husband and I have not had a vacation for more than two years, most recently because of the dreaded covid. We searched all over the internet trying to find a long weekend in the beach that would accept us and our two dogs, one of which is over 20 pounds. Thanks so much to our hosts for allowing us to bring our fur babies. The unit was immaculate, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was furnished with more than we could ever use.

The property was very clean and we were very pleased. Almost felt like home. The location was perfect for the beaches and dining. The only thing that went wrong was the WiFi. My wife and I are in our 40’s so it wasn’t a problem for us, but when you have teenagers, we’ll you know. So we just used our data and the problem was avoided. It worked the first day, after that it went out. So to sum it up, the property is a must stay, and we plan to come back the same time next year.

We had a good experience with this location. The only thing I could recommend would be upgraded mattresses and maybe a suggestion to the owner of handicap access to the beach.

This was the best vacation we have had in years. The perfect place, easy access to beach, dining and activities. The beds were comfy, condo was clean and we enjoyed it all. Brittney with Breathe Easy Rentals was awesome - checked on us on the way down, during visit and after we left. My daughter said this is the first vacation she hasn't been homesick - it felt like home while we were there. Plan on returning next year.

Superb customer service! The host was really responsive. We loved everything about our stay. The condo had everything we needed, complete kitchen wares and appliances, boardgames, beach umbrella and chairs were even included with our stay. The location was also great, 2 mins walk to the beach, and great neighborhood. Will definitely be back again.

Overall we had a good trip. The communication with the property manager was great every time I needed to reach out or question anything. The place was clean but was lacking in several areas in the kitchen. We definitely needed more spoons and found we had to wash after each meal or wouldn’t have had enough forks. There were no dish rags for washing dishes or wiping up so we had to use a hand towel for that. The beds were a lot more firm than we’re used to but again, was clean. The kids had a good time and it was in a good location for lots to do.

In our kitchens, we supply kitchen towels, silicone sponges, a larger-than-most bottle of dish soap, and several dishwasher pods. We'll double check our count on spoons and forks, but our last inventory offered plenty of salad forks, dinner forks, soup and cereal spoons. Mattresses are such a funny part of a condo -- our last guest raved about them and wanted to order one for her own home. We know everyone has a different comfort level, but these Owners truly try their best to provide a comfortable experience for all. We loved being in the middle of everything but this particular condo gives you some privacy and seclusion. The beach is right across the street with an awesome unobstructed view of the gulf. Easy access to restaurants, gas stations, convenience stores and shopping. This property also allows for you to bring your furry friend and has plenty of grassy areas to take them outside. We highly recommend this property. Great management team, especially Brittany.

I loved the condo. Great location very clean. Just wish there had been an extra blanket. Pretty sure I could have asked and got one. Everything else was perfect. I will stay there again. Beach was right there and beautiful. Perfect vacation thank you

The whole renting, checking in and checking out process was made very easy for us. No surprises other than we thought the condo was even nicer than the pictures portrayed. It is a very, very short walk to the beach, which we really liked. We would highly recommend this place and are looking forward to returning!

We loved the condo! The beds were so comfy!! The beach and restaurants were in walking distance which was very convenient.

The location of this rental is perfect...short walk to private beach with beach service is great. Short walk to restaurants etc. As for the actual unit, you could tell that the owner has put "some" money into it to prepare it for rental; however, i would argue they stopped a little short of what is necessary. The kitchen is the one area that needs the most attention...cabinets needed more than just a lite coat of paint(need replacing), countertops need replacing etc. Bathrooms had received some attention and were in good shape/clean etc. The grounds of the units could use more attention...landscape crew could just be a little more precise with their work and some cosmetic updates are needed from an exterior finish standpoint. Don't go thinking the tennis courts are in good shape...one example of the grounds needing some attention.

The Owners are planning to remodel the kitchen this fall, but with such a busy rental season and them just closing on the property a few short months ago, it didn't give us much time to line up contractors. We're hoping the fully stocked kitchen, nice appliances, and plethora of items available made cooking indoors easy peasy for you! We'll gladly pass along your concerns about the grounds to the Association, and please know all of our images were recently taken before we began rentals. We hate that these two things brought our score down so low from you. My hopes are that with the free daily activities, beach service, and convenient location you were still able to have a rockin' good time. I was blessed with the opportunity to spend an entire month in Destin, thanks to Breathe Easy Rentals. I had never been to Destin, nor had I used an online booking service. The entire process from booking to check out was so easy and stress free. Brittany was there to help the entire time. She was available the entire month I was there to help with any questions I had and to coordinate any issues that came up. She was very professional and so easy to talk to and work with. I will use them again and definitely recommend them in helping to plan your next vacation to the area. I feel like I have made a life long friend with Brittany and look forward to traveling back to Destin soon!!!

Efficient and convenient . Enjoyed our stay. Manager attended to our needs and requests . Lots of nice amenities. Spacious and clean. Couch and chairs weren’t very comfortable... otherwise, very nice.
