This gorgeous new 2 BR/2 BA guest cottage enjoys an ideal location in the center of the best part of Destin (Crystal Beach) a very short walk to the beach, yet it's private at the same time! If you prefer not to spend your vacation traipsing the halls of hotels or sharing condo elevators with strangers, enjoy this stunning but cozy cottage in its super convenient location! One-half block (3-4 minutes walk) to one of the best beach accesses--including restrooms, lifeguard and free kids classes—and a lovely cafe, close to other beach accesses, and 2-4 blocks to 2 grocery stores, over 30 restaurants, shops, movie theaters, bowling, kids play area, and more!

The cottage features a soaring cathedral ceiling in the living/kitchen/dining area, unique finishes, and a one-of-a-kind feel--to make the time when you're not on the beach as enjoyable and relaxing as your time on the beach. The first-floor master suite has a king bed of luxurious memory foam, double sinks, and a large shower. The second suite is upstairs and offers either 2 twin XL beds (also memory foam) or they can be converted into a king on request. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the loft. While 8 people are allowed per ordinance, we request no more than 6 adults for your comfort, except for certain circumstances or short stays. Amenities include a high-def TV, wifi, large deck, outdoor shower, full laundry, gas stove, and much more.

Important: This cottage is part of a family homestead and is only available when part of our family is away. With all separate walls, doors, and windows from the host's home, it is a perfect combination of having a home to yourself, and yet having the hosts adjacent if you need anything or want to ask advice from locals. Driveway is shared.

A large hot tub is being delivered in early July which will be a soaking pool in the summer for kids to play on a day when the Gulf is particularly rough and/or for adults to cool off and relax. It will be heated in cooler seasons. (We do not have a full, in-ground swimming pool).

Depending on size and maneuverability, we may have room to park a trailer/boat, jet ski, etc. (no HOA to worry about). You may rent a golf cart (from a third party) and have it dropped off/picked up at the cottage.

Crystal Beach is a beautiful family-friendly beach community, located 30 minutes from the Destin/Fort Walton Beach airport, and centrally located in between the area's best attractions (the ones other than the beach).
