A joyful life begins with a beachFULL life at Ain’t Life a Beach? – one of Destin’s luxury beach rentals. This three-story Mediterranean-style beauty is in the much-sought-after Destiny by the Sea community. Just a short stroll to the sugar-white sands of the Gulf, you’ll enjoy private beach access and a complimentary beach closet with everything needed for fun at the shore.
A grand staircase separates the cozy living area from the dining space, so people can sit and chat while watching TV, or get fully immersed in the meal prep in the well-appointed kitchen. There’s ample banquette seating or stools at the breakfast bar overlooking the expansive kitchen. The oversized gas stove/oven is a chef’s delight, and the other stainless appliances were designed to accommodate a crowd.
Ain’t Life a Beach? has two elegant primary suites with king beds and ensuite baths. Choose from a soaking tub or walk-in shower as part of the relaxing comforts. There are also two guest bedrooms, one is a king, with ensuite bath, and the other features a bunk room that sleeps six, perfect for kids (or kids at heart) in your party.
It will be hard to tear yourself away from the private courtyard with its invigorating pool and calming sheetfall feature. But at the end of the day, that’s where everyone can gather for a cool beverage on the patio to enjoy tasty meals from the gas grill.
A short walk away, there’s a community pool and hot tub, with plenty of loungers. But there is also much to enjoy along Scenic Highway 98. Guests are just minutes from fine dining restaurants and unique boutiques. Other amenities include golf, tennis, biking, boating, and water sports to suit every age.
About the Community:
Located along Scenic Highway 98 on the Emerald Coast in Destin, Florida, this premier, Gulf-front, gated community has 24-hour security as well as a pristine, private beach. This private community association has contracted with Sun, Sand and Sea for beach service rentals, which includes beach chairs and beach umbrellas. Personal tents, umbrellas, baby tents, tarps, and canopy setups are not allowed per the association rules. Outside golf cart rentals are not allowed per the association rules. Wide walking and bike paths add to the ambiance of touring the area. Plus, guests can enjoy a lavish community pool and hot tub. The pool bathhouse includes changing rooms and showers for your convenience. Next door to this luxurious neighborhood is The Crab Trap. Its location is perfect for purchasing food and drink to enjoy while on the beach.
This area of Northwest Florida is very proud and protective of the natural environment. Guests are asked to use the beach walk-overs in order to protect the sand dunes. Also, please do not disturb the nests of sea turtles, which are quite prolific in the area. For your safety, be sure to be aware of the Flag Warning System, which is also accessible by text.
To learn more about times past, the Destin History and Fishing Museum makes a great stop on your vacation. While there, you’ll learn interesting tidbits like: What makes the sand so white? And speaking of fishing, charter boats are available nearby at the Harbor Walk Marina.
Throughout the year, arts and entertainment options vary with the Sinfonia symphony orchestra, the Emerald Coast Theatre Company, and many other activities and special events.
To find out what’s going on during your stay, the Destiny by the Sea Owners Association FB includes lots of fascinating information on this quaint area.
