Nice home. Great location. Kids loved the pool, fishing off the dock, and the private beach. Rental bikes were great for them to ride to the beach. Lots of stairs. Owner had several of the closets locked up as well as the garage and elevator. Kitchen well stocked with utensils and pans. Outside needed a power washing. WiFi was spotty at best, but they were able to fix it.

Captain Jax was the perfect beach vacation home for our family getaway. Then 10 of us were more than comfortable. The property was equipped with everything we needed. The pool was a perfect size for our little ones (10,7,6,1). The proximity to the beach was great- just a short walk. The private beach at holiday isle is absolutely perfect. It was never crowded and beautifully kept. Our entire family agreed that we will return back to the holiday isle neighborhood in the future. The best part, however, was the communication with the property managers, breathe easy. They were FABULOUS. Highly HIGHLY recommend this group!!!

Great location, 5 minute walk to the beach. The heated pool is amazing!!!!! The house was well stocked, clean, exactly as described! We had a great stay!

Rented property for a 9 person family vacation. Cleaning crew was still at residence so I didn't go in until after 6pm. Master suite carpet had a few stains on it to which I notified management. The refrigerator appeared to be missing a "catch tray" for the ice/water dispenser so water dripped on floor/ I alleviated this by placing a folded dish rag there to absorb the water. Family loved the place. Pool was perfect on those chilly days. Beds were comfy. Only real complaint was by the coffee drinkers (I don't do coffee) who said the coffee maker took about an hour to make a pot of coffee. Tried to get a cross breeze but only a few windows opened and had screens in them so didn't bother. I'd definitely rent this property again. Great location, great management company. Only thing we didn't use was the rolling cooler since it was too cool to go to beach most days.

On the refrigerator, I am not sure we were told about that. We could have looked into the issue for you, but appreciate you problem solving temporarily for us. We will take a look and see if we can find the cause. First time on the coffee pot news, we will check it out. They sound like me, I don't like waiting on my first cup either! LOL. Everything was great, we had two 2year olds and were a little worried about the canal and the pool but there were many locked gates and doors that put our worries at rest. We would highly recommend a golf cart as the neighborhood is full of beautiful homes all on canals and many facing the harbor walk. It was a guarantee to make the little ones fall asleep in the afternoon and evenings and we all enjoyed the rides!

We had a wonderful stay at Captain Jax! The location is great, short walk to the beach! There are bicycles available that may be utilized during your stay. The house is as described, we did not realize no tv’s in downstairs bedrooms but that was our mistake for not picking up on that in the pictures. There is plenty of dining area and the space is open so everyone can socialize during meal times. There is ample room for dining on the deck also. Overall wonderful stay and great time!

The house was absolutely gorgeous. Holiday isle is an awesome area to stay. Quiet and relaxing but just minutes from everything. Private access to the most beautiful beaches and discounts to many local attractions. We had a vacation with our adult children and grand children. The whole experience gave us lots of joy. For an unforgettable family vacation, you must consider our amazing 5 bedroom home, located a mere .3 mile walk away from the private beaches of Holiday Isle. With crystal white sand beaches, turquoise waters, and enough sunshine to fill your soul, there's no better place to plan a perfect beach getaway. You have all the comforts of home, a private pool, full-size washer and dryer, and plenty of outdoor and indoor space to kick back and relax. Let's walk you through our little piece of paradise!
When you first enter the home, you're on the second floor. This is where you'll find the fully stocked kitchen, huge living space, and dining table seating - all with mesmerizing views of the canal. There are 2 bedrooms on this floor, both offering Queen-size beds and a Jack-and-Jill shared bathroom. The wrap-around deck gives you all the feels, with ample seating and a charcoal grill!
Upstairs, on the 3rd floor, is where you'll find your gigantic master suite. With sweeping views, and a huge amount of space, this will be your secret oasis while on vacation. The master suite bath offers a soaking tub, walk-in shower, vanity space, and separate toilet room. There's also a closet just outside the room's entrance, and you have your own private deck out back. Seriously, the views from this room are epic. . ..and you may never even want to leave!
Down on the ground floor, you'll have access to your waterfront deck space and a new private pool. There are 2 bedrooms on this floor and a bathroom. One room offers a Queen bed, while the other room has a Twin over Full bunkbed. Your washer and dryer are located on the ground floor, as well as an extra full-size fridge and sink area. This is one of our favorite spaces to chill and sip on a cocktail (or mocktail!)
