Charming 3 Bedroom Beachhouse, Steps to Sand, Mexico Beach, Florida Vacation Rental by Owner

Very friendly host and great location. Host a as very responsive to my questions and concerns before and during our stay. Cute and cosy place to stay. Had very friendly people in the community. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to friends and family.

This was a cute guest quarters to stay in for 3 of us, that is attached to an existing home. Everything was super clean and it was very inviting. Noise from the attached home was very minimal and we hope we were quite also. The king size bed was very comfortable and the trundle bed suited our daughter wonderfully. If you plan to do most of your meals in, the kitchen is lacking a few basics (large pot, wood spoon, peeler, scraper, baking pan, etc.); however we still manage with what we had. Driveway parking is a bit tight if you have a large vehicle; however additional vehicles are able to park over by the pool. The community pool, shops and bay are within an easy walking distance. The various community walkways and bike paths down around the Bay Area are absolutely beautiful and the scenery is gorgeous! The pool is so relaxing and provides some great shaded areas and plenty of seating. Angela is great at getting back to you with any of your needs, and we highly recommend her rental.

Very nice place and very nice host. The pool was a big plus for us. We loved Bruno’s pizza buffet. The location was great and in between Mexico Beach and Cape San Blas. We enjoy getting out to ride in all directions.

I would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat angela was an amazing Wonderful caring host. And the place was immaculate. And it was very close to the beach and she provided a lot of the beach necessities

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Angela's place is quiet, convenient, and accommodating. The resort-setting provides many options for a relaxing stay. The pool, restaurants, and beach access are all great. Airbnb sent us to the wrong address, so be sure to confirm the address with Angela. I expect that we will return in the future.

We loved our stay at Beachside Bliss. We are so thankful Angela let us check in early because we were exhausted after driving through the night with a toddler. The beach was absolutely beautiful and the beach wagon provided was so helpful. It was a short little walk to the beach from the house. Our toddler wasn’t interested in walking that distance, so he mostly rode in the beach wagon to get to the beach. The house was beautiful, clean, and included basically everything we needed, and the location was great. We walked to get dinner and coffee several times, as it was only a mile there and back.

I have to say I have never had this experience at an Airbnb before, and I am hesitant to leave a bad review. At first glance the place was nice inside but when we looked closer we found dog hair all over the coverlet and sheets of the trundle bed where my friend’s son was going to sleep. Then, when we pulled back the comforter of the bed in the main bedroom, there were long, dark hairs and some sort of small bug. If the place was cleaner, it would have been nice. If they use a cleaning company, they need to look for a new one. We tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and they did bring us new sheets for the trundle but once we found the other hairs and bug we did not feel comfortable staying on dirty sheets. My friend had cancer and has to be very careful about her surroundings being sanitary. Unfortunately, we had to pick up and leave and find another place to stay late at night. I think this could be a nice place to stay if it is cleaned more thoroughly.

Very comfortable and convenient.

It is a bit of a walk to the water, but she provides a beach cart which was most helpful. She also has a beach “supply” closet with several things we used everyday. We will definitely be back!

Angela's place was immaculate and clean. Perfect place for our family to stay and enjoy Mexico Beach. The included beach cart and beach amenities were perfect. Easy to find and the check-in process was cake. Angela was very helpful in giving us recommendations.

Absolutely beautiful and very beautiful location!

We had a wonderful stay at this nice spacious home. Angela is an amazing host. She responded promptly to any communication sent.The home is in the Windmark beach area and this is such a convenient place. The neighborhood feels exclusive yet accepting and inviting. There is a central street that has a few restaurants, general store, a pet store, and some others. The live music on the weekend was very enjoyable. We tried the on-site restaurants and loved them all. The neighborhood is such a nice hidden gem. A couple of times we tried to eat at some HW 98 restaurants and there was always over an hour wait. Then, we went to the on-site restaurants and got right in.The on-site swimming pool and playground were perfect for my grandson. We enjoyed walking the beach at night, looking for crabs. One thing to keep in mind is this is more in the bay area so the shore has many, many shells. Perfect for exploring, but if you’re getting in the water, I’d bring water shoes. Wonderful visit!

We enjoyed our stay in Port St. Joe. It’s a sweet little town with a great atmosphere. The View at Old 98 has delicious food. We loved the pool and we also drove to Cape San Blas and enjoyed the beach there as well.The ice cream shop in downtown has the best key lime pie ice cream.

Great place to stay

Enjoyed Angela’s place. It was well worth it. Beautifully placed, decorated, and fully stocked. I would recommend her place to anyone in the market for an AirBnB in Port St Joe

We absolutely loved staying at Beachside Bliss and we are already thinking about planning our next trip there.

We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. Angela was very helpful with a few questions and responded quickly. We particularly liked that there were no stairs to climb!!

Beautiful beach house in a perfect location! We have a large family and everything was exactly as stated. We were all very comfortable. You can tell that an immense amount of love and care was put into this home to make it absolutely amazing for a family to have their vacation here. We needed nothing that we did not plan for and had much more provided for us than we expected. The house was immaculate! The beach was more private than we could have hoped for and we loved that so much! We went to several popular beaches in the area for shelling and actually found the best shells, by far, on the private beach for this beach house. Angela was attentive to any questions and the place she recommended we loved very much! We highly recommend this gorgeous, very clean dreamy beach house! Also, we brought our two year old grand baby and the home was very safe for her. And fishing was very fruitful in the canal! Our family made incredible memories that will not be forgotten here.

Great location. As others have stated, construction is in full swing but this did not bother us. The host was very kind, responsive and helpful during our stay.

Great location with a short walk to the beach. Would stay there again. Master bed was large and comfortable. There was quite a bit of construction noise nearby, but after what the area had been through with storm damage it was no problem.

Our apartment was clean. That’s what we wanted. It’s walking distance to the beach and pool. We were disappointed that the tv had no cable or satellite. That should be noted through Airbnb. So for the 2 weeks we were there we watched local news from OUR hometown on our Hulu through our iPad. Let’s not forget that NCAA final game and the Masters golf tournament were not available on the tv only on our iPad. Very disappointing. No local news or weather from the PSJ area. I probably won’t stay there again. We like to sit outside and there was no easy place to sit outside.

This place is wonderful!! It's very short walk to the beach. The neighborhood is great. We loved our stay and look forward to going back!

Great Trip!!

Everything about this place is great. Great location, beautiful home, super clean, comfortable beds, had lots of room, very organized and the host were super helpful. We had a wonderful time.

We really enjoyed our stay and Angela was a wonderful hostess. She was responsive to my questions prior to check-in and although our travel schedule didn't allow it, she offered us an early check-in which was very thoughtful. The only problem we encountered was that the TVs in the bedrooms did not work. Unfortunately, she did not see/respond to our request for help until the evening prior to our departure. However, when she did see the message, she responded and provided a discount to make up for the inconvenience. I feel that she did everything that she could do to accommodate us and we would stay here again.

Angela's place was exactly as listed and really lived up to the name paradise. Very easy to find and clean and comfortable as well. You can walk or bike to the beach and anything else you might need (like restaurants, shops, or historic sights) is within 10 minutes by car. I would definitely stay here again!

Nice out of the way place to stay!

We truly adored our stay at beachside bliss! It was comfortable, spacious, and well appointed. It was clean, everything worked, and the kitchen has everything you could need. I loved the recliners in the living room and the beautiful back patio. Even better yet was the location - you are a peaceful and short walk (short enough for little toddler legs!) down to the beach where there is tons of space and no crowds. White sand and immaculately clean. The area is peaceful and private. The neighbors were extremely nice and welcoming. There are amazing restaurants are nearby (try shipwreck and the shell shack for seafood!) and in Port St. Joe. We already plan on staying here again next year - great value, wonderful place for our family, and just what we needed!

Very nice vacation with our family. Very comfortable, large townhouse. Wish the master bedroom had been on the main floor. All in all no real issues.

Excellent 2nd stay in this townhouse. Less than 5 minute walk to the beach. Walking distance to shops and restaurant, as well as the canal. Upstairs balcony is a bit small, but adequate. Private space outback is a nice feature. Would definitely recommend

Great location, close to everything. The place was tidy but could have been cleaned better. Dishes and silverware had dried food on them. At checkin we had to wait 30 mins to checkin because it was still being cleaned…was told to come back later. After driving 7 1/2 hrs that’s not what you want to hear. Dryer made a horrendous noise every-time we used it. Makes drying pool towels or clothes dreadful. For the price of a weeks stay..it’s not bad at all, but could definitely use some improvements to make it worth it. I saw others comment about the noise in the adjoining house and it hasn’t been totally fixed by the door, but it’s not horrible. Like a hotel room wall..can hear everything. We have been coming to the area for awhile and stayed in hotels and other Airbnb’s. Personally a few hundred more for a full weeks stay I would stay somewhere more private next time.

The location and amenities of the area are wonderful. We loved the beach, the neighborhood was quiet and appealing to the eyes. But we feel the price for this little suite was a little spendy for it lacking cleanliness. We walked in and first noticed the floors being visibly dirty. We didn’t want to take our shoes off because of how it made our feet feel. The comforters were dirty, all of the utensils, pots, pans and cups were dirty and stained. We had to wash things before using them because there was old food caked onto almost everything. The shower had water stains and the curtain was well over used caked with other peoples soap on it. The bathroom mats has stains and more dirt sitting on them. It’s really hard to look over this kind of stuff when you’re paying a certain amount for every day you’re staying and not feeling comfortable during your stay. Again, the location and amenities of the little neighborhood were fantastic, but that was all outside of the unit.

Very nice place, really more room than i was expecting. Short walk down a quite road to the beach. There are some beach accessories, but all we really used was the wagon, and it was great not to have to lug our stuff! Fresh seafood store within walking distance. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. Definitely a place we would stay again!

Super cool little town. I liked it not being crowded. Great beach. A few shops, small convivence stores and Mom and Pop restaurants. If you are looking for the crowded, crazy hustle and bustle Panama City is 30 mins west.

Perfect spot! Super cute place with above ample space. Everything you need was available. The host was excellent with quick responses to any question. The Windmark community is fabulous and has so much to offer! Walking trails with gorgeous scenery! Beautiful setting with wonderful amenities, the pool was great with a poolside bar. Love The View for a beautiful dinner or The Mill for a cocktail! You can't go wrong here, perfect spot to be!

A great vacation house for a family, there was 7 adults and 1 toddler. We did have a few problems with the AC but Angela was quick to help with that. It is a walk to the beach, probably a good 5-8 mins! The house has everything you need and more! Thank you for the stay!

We have stayed in this townhouse several times, and it is just the perfect place. Angela is the perfect host who responds immediately to any questions or issues that may arise. We love this location and this townhouse!

New construction near the village and the beach. Shops, beach, and pool are within easy walking / biking distance, although my family and I did find it easier to haul beach gear in the truck, parking at the beach end of the village. The bike paths were fun to explore, especially during the beautiful sunsets. We bought some groceries at a nearby Dollar General Market and were able to make good use of the well-provisioned kitchen. (Be advised that the coffee maker is a pot, not for single-serving pods.) Owner provides a couple beach towels, but you might want to bring more. I cannot offer high enough praise for this location. During our stay we drove to Cape San Blas to enjoy some waves; to St. Joe Beach for some relaxed kayaking and to make friends with a few crabs; Mexico Beach just because it was also nearby; but of course most of our beach trips were to Windmark Beach. And since this is the forgotten coast, we never had any problem staking out a generous plot of beach without stepping on other beach goers' toes.

Fantastic place to stay for a beach adventure! A short walk down to the sands and you’re greeted with the warm breeze of the Gulf Coast! The sand is very soft and water is perfect during the summer months. The house was clean and modern. Easily wash the sands off your feet in front of house and in the back patio is an outdoor shower. Would be glad to stay again and enjoy Mexico Beach. It’s done a great job rebuilding after the hurricane. Thanks Angela!

The WindMark Beach neighborhood included beach access, lovely pool, some local services (don’t miss Bruno Pizzas daily lunch buffet) and charm. Streets are walkable with little traffic and the community feels safe, somewhat private, even ‘exclusive’ in some ways. The house is modern, clean, well decorated, the furniture is comfortable, and the ambiance is appropriate, welcoming, and fits in great with a beach-centric destination. It’s only a short drive to ‘downtown’ Port St Joe for shopping, Dining, groceries, etc and <30 minutes from Apalachicola or Cape San Blas. WindMark beach is sheltered from big waves by the cape — great for young children to play in and everything and also has beautiful sunsets — but if you want waves it’s only a short drive to the beautiful Cape San Blas or Mexico Beach. This ‘forgotten coast’ had a wonderful charm, too. Not overly touristy (though I’m sure peak season is hopping) it doesn’t seem to be so overdone to be a nuisance. We look forward to returning, maybe even make this a regular destination.

Angela's Place is the perfect location to explore everything the "Forgotten Coast" has to offer. The resort-like amenities at Windmark Beach create a truly remarkable getaway at an excellent value. Besides the beautiful beaches, be sure to make time to snorkel in St. Joe's Bay, take the scenic drive over to Apalachicola, eat a relaxed dinner at one of the patio restaurants in downtown Port St. Joe, and find more shells than you can carry on the east end of Cape San Blas. You won't regret this visit!

Angela was a gracious hostess and available . Mother-law- suite was very comfortable and location was perfect for day trips. This resort atmosphere was a surprise as it included access to beach, pool, and several restaurants and a few shops in the neighborhood. Pool area was beautifully designed with pergola for shade, playground for small children and palms with beautiful landscape. Close access to seafood,grocery stores, pharmacy and other shopping. Would love to return to this location again soon. Sunsets were spectacular!

Great location and beautiful apartment. Having the washer/dryer was a necessity and appreciated. Thankful for the getaway!

There are only 2 chairs in the unit although there is sleeping for 4. Kitchen mixing bowls and baking pans are limited. Angela was super patient with us old folks who had a problem with the door lock mechanism. Location is good being close to Port St. Joe. We had great difficulty finding the unit; specific instructions should be given as address posted was in town, several miles away.

Beautiful place to stay and a short walk to the beach. I loved the wagon with chairs to pull to the beach. My kids enjoyed the beach toys. Place is nice, quiet and relaxing!

Very clean and perfect size for 2 people. Perfect location. 25 minutes from Apalachicola, 15 minutes from Cape San Blas, 5 minutes from downtown Port St. Joe, and 5 minutes from Mexico Beach. Beach access was nice and very private. Easy access to pool, restaurants, shops, etc.

This place is in a great location between Mexico beach and port saint joe. Super clean and new which is a big plus. Check in and out was super easy and host was very responsive and helpful!! Would stay again!!

This mother-in-law apartment attached to the main residence is a good fit for a couple with perhaps a third guest on the main room day bed. It is an easy 10 minutes walk to the white sand beach. The bed was very comfortable. It's a ten minute drive into Port St. Joe for dining and shops. The neighborhood is under construction currently as new houses are going up across the street. There is quite a bit of sound audible from the main unit which limits privacy and the kitchen is a bit underequipped.

Beachside Bliss is our favorite place to stay in Mexico Beach! The townhouse is perfect for a small family, and the location is the best! It has everything you need, and Angela is the perfect host!

We loved having a beach wagon, 2 chairs, and beach towels already there so we didn’t have to bring it all from home. From start to finish we had a great trip and can’t wait to visit again❤️

Angela is very responsive which made our stay even better. The house is also very in style so you’ll feel like you’re living in luxury! Loved every bit of it!
