My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. 1. Location and ease of getting to the beach. We did not have to leave the area to eat or shop. The only place we traveled to during our 4- night stay was the beach. You can rent chairs and umbrellas from owner and tote those on the tram to the beach. Much cheaper than renting from beach vendors. Area felt safe. 2. Unit was clean and updated. This is my number one requirement when renting and this condo met my expectations. Very happy with the level of cleanliness. A couple weird things with the design...including a secondary bedroom with toilet and shower all in one. My teenager did not like that at all, but he survived. 3. Not easy traveling from parking garage to unit. We had to drag luggage down steps from garage and then up steps to get into unit. If you have any mobility issues beware, this unit is not likely for you. 5. Couch was covered with a blanket, which I pray they wash between guests. Did not like this part, but it is probably covering up sofa stains. Light colored couches in rentals don't have long lives without looking gross. 6. We would love to stay again on our next trip to Destin in the fall. If you don't have to be on the beach or steps from the beach, this unit is a great option.

You can rest assured that the blanket covering on the sofa was replaced after each departure (even though couch cushions in other rentals aren't!) As a matter of fact, the sofa was replaced shortly after your visit with a sleeper sofa! It had been in the works for awhile. Yes, there are stairs to maneuver, and we cover this in all of our marketing and information ahead of your stay so all of our guest are aware. Location was perfect; in the middle of it all yet quietly, tucked away. Property was cozy; thoughtful design of many enjoyable living spaces within 1700 square feet. Each day we looked forward to retreating back to the unit after a fun day on the beach topped off with great showers and comfortable beds. I appreciated the small details that were evident throughout the property which reflects the care and attention the owners provide you during your stay.

I liked property a lot very clean and comfortable. Right in the middle of everything in the resort. The has everything you need for a short trip or an extended stay. Bedrooms are nice and the showers are amazing. Give this place a 10. Only thing I didn’t like was checking out my code stop working 15 minutes before check out.

This is a great unit. Two women in their 40s checked in after 10 days in Europe . It was so funny to check in and still have a European vibe and toilets. The place is gorgeous and the property manager was a great communicator. I would definitely stay again.

Would recommend for younger age groups. My husband and I are 60+. Many stairs to contend with. Other wise a very beautiful condo

The property is in the area we wanted, and different. As in, it’s kind of hidden and that makes it super original! The place was really nice, the hosts are great communicators, and the Baytowne Warf is so pretty. I would recommend it for sure.

Our condo was within walking distance to shopping, dining and entertainment. Beach across the street by way of trolley or car. Condo was contemporary and comfortable.

We have stayed at the Wharf @ Baytowne a few times over the years in different condos, but this one was the best location in relation to parking, the pool, workout center, and the center square where the live entertainment is. Would definitely book this one again!

The property's location was close to shops, restaurants, and the beach. And use of the tram service to the beach provided with the property was very convenient. All instructions needed for the stay were given in detail prior to arrival. Our family's overall stay was phenomenal!

This property is located exactly inside one of the best condos in Destin, and so close to good restaurants and a good night life for teens. Apartment is clean and with nice furniture. We will be back soon!

Overall loved this space! Very modern and chic. Would stay here again…. Just A LOT of steps! Was difficult for my elderly mom to talk up/down multiple sets of steps. - go down steps to get to bottom level of Baytown, up a flight of stairs to get into condo, up a flight of stairs to get to bedrooms, up a flight of stair to get to pool.
Make sure you download and read guide sent to you prior to getting into parking garage, no service in garage. I was lost in the garage and couldn’t get into guidebook so I called the rental company for assistance. They informed me “this is why we sent a detailed guide to you prior to your arrival.” Thought this was a little rude: however, we still had a great time!

I must admit, it is a little disheartening to hear how much hard work we put into everything ahead of time to not have folks take the time to review things. In our marketing, we do make very clear that this condo has many steps to access the property and is not ideal for folks with disabilities or who may not appreciate steps. We understand that not everyone likes the city-style charm and did our best to make you aware before you booked. Upon arrival, our response was quite different, and we hate you perceived it as rude. We immediately sent you screenshots from your guidebook and called and texted several times to ensure you found the condo quickly (to which you replied yes, you did). There are many photos that we have taken with very detailed instructions on how to access the unit. Again, we understand getting to the condo the first time can be confusing so the photos and details we provide ahead of time are meant to assist you in having a wonderful vacation and seamless check in. We'd love to know how you think we could make this experience easier as we have implemented all the best strategies we know to assist our guests before they ever arrive with understanding the uniqueness of this vacation rental - requiring guests to take time to review all the information we provide before check-in. Taking vacations and spending quality time with family is such a wonderful blessing we all don't get the opportunity to embrace. My hope is that your time with your mom, the cleanliness of the condo, and our continued communication with you throughout your stay was relaxing and made you feel quite safe and at home with us. The unit was exactly as advertised. It had everything needed for a wonderful five day getaway. The management team was incredibly responsive. We asked for extra blankets… And they were there within a few hours. It was exceptional. My only problem was I could never figure out how to work the washing machine. I should have called… But, I did not want to bother anyone. My only advice is that if you arrive at night… Have a flashlight. I could not see the door code because it was dark and I had Left my phone in the car because it was raining. It took several attempts to get in and I was soaked.
You were the perfect guest! You should never hesitate to call on us to answer any questions or address any issues you may come across while staying with us. We are always ready to help out guest out to make their stay fun and easy! Also, we will definitely look into correcting the lighting issue for the door lock for easier entry.
