Surfside Resort Unit 1006, Miramar Beach, Florida Vacation Rental by Owner

My family recently had the pleasure of staying in Surfside 1006.  We previously vacationed elsewhere on the gulf but came to Destin with extended family.  After much research and reviewing numerous property, I was given Julie’s name and I couldn’t be happier that I called.  To begin with, Julie answered all of my questions (for the months leading up to our trip and during).  She was great to work with and had excellent recommendations for food and fun while in Destin.  When we arrived at Surfside, security provided us with our parking passes and directions for the property.  While the building itself is nice, nothing prepared for the unit itself.  1006 is amazing!  The unit is beautifully furnished and appointed.  The view from the balcony is breathtaking.  The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable.  We could not have asked for more or designed a better space.  We cooked several meals in the kitchen (the ice maker/water dispenser was a bonus with my kids) and had everything we needed.  My family loved sitting on the large balcony looking out over the ocean while we ate.  We were able to watch the Indy 500 from the cozy living room (a treat for those who live close to the race and therefore cannot watch it live at home).  Then there is the beach… clear water, white sand beaches, and sun!  The beach service made life much easier (and the load lighter).  The beach area was not crowded and our chairs were right at the ocean’s edge.  With a cold drink from the beach bar in hand, life doesn’t get much better.  The walk over bridge meant easy access and every staff member we encountered was helpful and engaging.  We managed to pull ourselves away from the beach to spend some time at the pool area also.  It was clean and open but (because of its location) never crowded.  We loved that pedestrians couldn’t peer in as we lounged.  To make the experience complete, we had sushi at the Royal Palm right downstairs.  Best. Sushi. Ever.  Bonfires on the beach, yes.  Spa in house, check.  Conveniently located, absolutely.  All the comforts of home, and then some.  We will most definitely be back to Destin, and Surfside.  And I will rent from Julie as often as she (and my employer) will let me!  It was so much better than we hoped in every way.  Thank you!
 

The condo was very nice and the complex was conveniently located close to restaurants and shops. My girls & I had a great week and I would definitely consider renting this condo again.

The condo was fantastic: from amenities, location, decor, to management. It can’t be beat. Quick/easy access to beach, and pool, hot tubs, fitness room, restaurant, beach bar ... that’s before you leave the resort! Extremely close to incredible restaurants, shopping outlets galore, boutiques, games, etc. However, if like our trip, perfection for four (or a couple more) friends to hang out and have a great time with wine, cheese, gossip, and laughter!
