We have been coming to SGI during March for the last 12 years, but it was our first time staying at Fishy Fishy. It is by far the most comfortable and well-equipped home we have rented. The inside is updated and super clean. Comfortable beds and plenty of space for everyone to be together or spread out. The deck is awesome! It has sun or shade all day with spectacular views for dolphin watching. We love coming to SGI and staying in the Plantation because it is relaxed and not crowded. Fishy Fishy has lots of beach gear available for you to use and plenty of outdoor games. Allison is a great host, very quick to respond and the rental process is super easy. We can’t wait to return next year!

Our entire experience was absolutely fabulous. From early communication with Allison to the actual booking experience to the detailed information provided pre-check-in to the beautiful house and location. So many things make this place special, big and small. The house, its decor, amenities, orientation on the beach, all create a pretty unbeatable experience. We also loved the Plantation itself for its natural beauty, peace and quiet, bike/walking paths and did I mention the beach!

The location is in a quiet gated neighborhood at the end of the island. The house was welcoming, comfy, and sparkling clean with all the amenities you could need. Allison was extremely responsive and welcoming. We only used the pool once because we spent most our time on the beach just outside. Perfect Trip!

We had an amazing stay at Fishy Fishy! The house was perfect for us - my parents stayed in the king bedroom on the main floor and we used the bedrooms upstairs. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking each night of our stay, including sharp knives and baking dishes! We like to eat in so that we can stay on the beach as long as possible, so we always appreciate a well-stocked kitchen. Our three-year old loved the extra room for watching cartoons and playing with her dolls, and all of the beach toys were a huge help since we flew in and were trying to not bring an extra suitcase just for all the beach gear. The house is very bright and inviting - looks like it should be an HGTV Dream House! The owners were great and answered all of our questions promptly. We use VRBO for a lot of our vacations, and this is definitely one of the best (if not THE best) place we've stayed. Thank you so much for sharing your home!

We loved our stay at Fishy Fishy! The house was very clean and decorated beautifully. We were welcomed with a nice gift box full of goodies. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you would need to cook a nice meal. The views of the gulf were amazing and the pool was just a short bike ride away. Allison was so great to work with and the in and out process was a breeze!

Far exceeded our expectations! We have stayed in many beach homes in the past but none can compare to this professionally decorated, exceptionally clean and well appointed home that worked perfectly for our family.
Beach toys, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, bicycles, BBQ gas grill and outdoor shower are just some of the amenities that were at our disposal. Best of all, a beautiful uncrowded beach just a few steps from the house.
The owners genuinely cared about our experience at Fishy Fishy, doing everything to help make our stay as enjoyable as possible.

This was our first time visiting St. George Island and this Amazing Beach House, Fishy Fishy!! I knew from the minute I looked at the pictures of this beach house I wanted to come stay. The Beach House is everything the pictures show and more!! Allison the owner has went above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect she has included so many fine details that even my husband commented about them!! I had spoken with Allison prior to visiting, she is so sweet and accommodating in every way!! I hope we are blessed enough to enjoy a week every Summer at, Fishy Fishy!!💛�ðŸ–�

We really enjoyed staying at Fishy Fishy. The house was beautifully decorated and located in a great spot in the Plantation. Allison was a delight to work with. She was very attentive and timely with answering questions. I asked about pickleball paddles and Allison purchased them before our stay. We've stayed in several houses in the Plantation over the years and Fishy Fishy was definitely our favorite!

We loved this house! The owner Allison is great to work with! Looks and feels like a brand new home. Quality and attention to detail all around. I knew from the time seeing the online welcome book (something I've not seen before) this was going to be a great rental (actually I knew from the time looking at the pictures online this was going to be a special house. The welcome book was added confirmation). Everything our family of four needed was there, inside-and-out. Bicycles, beach chairs, beach toys, corn-hole, hammock, etc. Brand new kitchen appliances, gas stove, Sonos sound system, plenty of TV's, games, etc. Beach front property having large deck with two tall life guard chairs. Big gas grill on the ground level. I could go on-and-on. Simply put, this is the perfect house in the Plantation!

Fully Renovated Beachfront 3BR /3.5BA + bonus 4th BR/2nd TV room in the St. George Island Plantation
Fishy Fishy is a beautiful, oceanfront home that was new to the rental market in 2019. We're located within the gated St. George Plantation, on St. George Island, Florida. This 3 bedroom, 3 ½ bath home has been completely renovated and refurnished with an eclectic mix of old and new items collected from all over, making it feel both comfortable and sophisticated.

In 2019 the home underwent a complete renovation with new kitchen and bath cabinets, Carrara marble showers, and all new plumbing and light fixtures throughout. There is a whole house water filtration system, as well.
The kitchen has a large single bowl farmhouse sink, stainless appliances, and a high-end 48" double oven gas range with built in griddle and grill.
On the first floor of the home is the main living area. The living room has a large sectional, two swivel glider chairs, and a 65” smart TV. A large desk sits behind the sectional, just in case you need to get some work done while you’re here. Off the main living space is the large oceanfront deck with 4 Adirondacks and 2 tall lifeguard-style chairs.
The kitchen/dining area has a dining table with seating for 6+, plus two additional seats at the bar.
A hallway leads to the half bath, then the first king bedroom and bath. A smaller bonus room across the hallway has a 55” smart TV and queen sofa bed with memory foam mattress. This can either be used as a 4th bedroom or 2nd TV room.
At the top of the stairs is a laundry closet with full-size washer and dryer, plus two more bedrooms and baths. The queen bedroom has a built-in window seat, with a memory foam mattress serving as the ‘cushion’, so this can easily be used as an additional bed.
At the end of the hall is a large, king bedroom and bath, with a private balcony directly overlooking the ocean.
The ground level has an enclosed outdoor shower, fish cleaning station, charcoal grill, and picnic table. There's a nice breeze under the house most days, so it's a great spot!
Fishy Fishy has sweeping views of the ocean in both directions. We are a short walk or bike ride to the clubhouse, where you'll have access to a fitness center, swimming pool, and a tennis court. Another fantastic family pool is located just down the road in the Resort Village area of the Plantation. Additional tennis & pickleball courts are tucked away in a gorgeous spot near the entrance, and miles of bike paths and nature trails are located throughout the Plantation. The gated entrance has 24-hour security, and a private airstrip is just two miles from our home.
St. George Island is just across the bay from Apalachicola, Florida, an authentic "old Florida" town with many boutiques, restaurants, a local brewery, and small town bars with some of the best live music you've heard.
