Our stay at Blue Heron Hideaway was simply magical! The house is a perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort. We were blown away by the stunning views and the spacious layout, which made it ideal for our family gathering. The renovation was tastefully done, preserving the home's character while providing all the amenities we could ask for. Drinking coffee on the screened in porch while watching the sun rise over the beautiful lake was a dream. Both living rooms were the perfect spot for cozy evenings together. Our children especially loved the private dock and water toys. We never walked to the beach other than morning strolls for exercise. It was such a wonderful feature to load the canoe, kayak or paddle boards and make the short trip to the beach by water. Having access to a private beach area and daily chair set up was a HUGE bonus. Our family LOVES vacationing in Florida and we have finally found the house we absolutely love. We were able to create lasting memories at this beautiful and unique home. Judy was wonderful to work with and always responsive and helpful. The homeowners are also a lovely family. Thank you for allowing our family to spend a week at your beautiful lake front home. We can't wait to come back!

Blue Heron was amazing. Let me just start with we were blessed with amazing weather and clear blue water during our stay. I was worried with the hurricane and all the double and single red flags i kept reading about that we weren't going to get much beach time, but had no problems, most of our days were yellow! The house I located on a private lot, you have a nice yard for small kids to kick a ball around or do yoga on! No really close neighbors to worry about and plenty of parking. Walking through the front doors you have an immediate line of sight to Eastern Lake! The house was beautiful, nicely updated with all the amenities. Beds were comfortable and house was well stocked. In 20 years this was the first time we didn't have to pick up extra paper products or hand soaps! You even get a loofah and travel sized toiletries! I pack my own spices, but you will need to bring your own basic spices, no salt or pepper... most houses have at least that so I was kinda surprised, but definitely not an issue for us! We rented bikes and a double paddle board and brought our inflatable kayaks but the house did have nice boards and kayaks to use, which with Florida's unpredictable weather you can still enjoy the lake activities if you can't get into the ocean water! That's a huge reason alone to book this house! Judy was the best. I've been renting 30A for 19 years and her service was the best we've experienced so far. The private beach during 4th of June week was nice to have as well. Quick 5 to 6 min walk or 1-2 min bike ride to the beach. The walk is mostly shaded too, that was the best. Pro tip ** take a picture of your right to trespass letter and give to everyone in your party. We had to show it a couple of times for our chair rentals! No big deal, but chair service is the way to go. We WILL stay here again!!! Loved it!

Gorgeous Eastern lake house
Just stayed 6 days at this stunning eastern lake house. Short walk, bike ride or paddle over to the beach. Property manager was very attentive and the kitchen was very well stocked. Even had a tesla charger for my son's car. We paddle boarded every day on the coastal dune lake. Loved the multiple sunrooms and the large windows overlooking the lake and dock. We loved the charm of the home and all of its amenities!

The house was more than we expected. The rooms are spacious, and the house has two outside screened-in porch areas for relaxing and eating. On Eastern Lake, you can enjoy a canoe, kayak, or paddle board. You can enjoy beautiful sunrises, and the sunset is only a quarter-mile walk away. There is an outdoor shopping mall nearby that boasts many stores and food vendors, which the family thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely rebook this home for a future family vacation.
