The house manager was very responsive and helpful. The home was spotless and gorgeous. The kitchen is fully stocked with all you could ever want and more. The pool is wonderful. We had our three children stay with us. Every day we rode bikes, swam at the beach and went to camp watercolor. Would stay here again.

Loved the house and all the amenities. It was a close ride/scoot to Camp Watercolor and the beach. Loved the community as well. Would definitely book again.

The house is perfectly appointed. We were a family of ten for Thanksgiving and loved cooking together, playing football and making memories. The kids loved Camp Watercolor in the mornings - the slides and the lazy river, and the food and drinks. The location of the house is perfect, as are all the amenities in Watercolor. We all enjoyed the GEM car, the pool and all the outdoor spaces! We took pickleball lessons at the tennis center, paddleboarded at the boat house, and rode bikes to Alys, Seaside and Grayton Beach Park. The house is better than any five star resort. Steam shower, heated pool, espresso machine, pebble ice maker, high thread count sheets…just WOW! Laurie is a delight and we feel so lucky to have enjoyed Thanksgiving at the Sandcastle!

This is our second year staying at this beautiful home! It is beautifully decorated and one of the nicest homes we have seen in Watercolor! Owner is super responsive with questions! I can see why she is gets a 5 star rating every time!!! This will be a yearly vacation for my family!

The home was even better in person! Unlike some of the other vacation rentals we have stayed it had everything (plus more) that we needed to enjoy our time. The kitchen was perfectly stocked to prepare big meals in. We had 3 families-- each of the adult couples got one of the 3 bedrooms with king size beds that were plush and had ensuites. While the kids were able to all sleep in the bunk room, which they loved, with their own bathroom too. They layout/functionality of the house worked perfectly, we were able to spread out when we needed too, nap in peace!, and also hang out together on the porches, by the pool, or in kitchen/living room together when we weren't at the beach or out exploring. Ideal location to take the bikes or cart to literally EVERYTHING. Laurie was a great host and we all agreed we would love to come back again!

We actually reserved and rented this property in January 2020 thinking we would have our annual family vacay in July 2020. Needless to say, covid health concerns, expected quarantines when we all returned home made this designated time not possible. Owner Laurie Redmond was extremely accommodating in rescheduling our vacay one year later in 2021. Communication with her throughout the year and as we approached our vacay was so easy by email or text. She was always responsive to questions. The home on VRBO site was so attractive to our large family. In person it was magnificent! Every bedroom, porch, living areas and fabulous kitchen made our stay perfect! Watercolor Beach Club access, GEM car and 6 bicycles enabled us to get around easily and safely! There is so much to do, beaches, kayaking, swimming in a multitude of pools along with our own backyard pool, a park at our front doorsteps, a bocce ball court, basketball and soccer areas for our preteens was so close! Watercolor Camp for the grandkids just a couple blocks away…priceless! Family cooking and shrimp boils, birthday cake, steaks and fish on the grill…….all perfect! Thanks Laurie!
