The Beach House, Navarre, Florida Vacation Rental by Owner

There were 7 of us and we were all comfortable. The unit was well equipped. Upon arrival the home did have a musty smell but the smell lessened on the second day. The communication during our stay was great as well. It would bean added bonus if the elevator was working especially since we had an emergency during our stay and it was difficult for the Medical personnel to navigate the stairs to get the patient out of the house.

Things to improve upon would be still pest control, and alerting tenants to repair people before they are scheduled to arrive. We were woken up on a Friday morning before 8am by a repair man. Beat on thedoor until whole house was awake. Next morning were awoken to lawn service people. Also, shark fishing charters from Destin set up directly in front of this house and this house alone due to reef nearby in front of this house. They told our boys you cannot swim out here we are fishing for sharks. Needless to say we gave them our opinion on that. We paid amazing money to stay here, we will swim in front of this property. Was not the most relaxing vacation we were hoping for when it was really needed the most. Super disappointed, but we’ll always come back to Navarre itself because we love this location.

The house was great and the location couldn’t have been better. The house is beginning to show its age, but so am I!! It was a wonderful experience for 6 adults and 3 young grandchildren.

The Beach House is a large very comfortable home with beautiful views of the white sandy beaches and turquoise water. Some little household repairs that could make things much more comfortable: Asmentioned before, 1) the vent a hood was detached, so still not working 2) the air conditioner in the master bedroom, woke us up with the return air vent rattling, needs tightening 3) Wifi connection to smart tvs, so renters can use their own streaming services for evening movies 4) smelly couch, that needs shampooing 5) repair 2 of the 3 garage doors 6) leaking pipes and hoses under the house and out back need repair. Reasons we gave the house a 4/5: 1) lots of room 2) cool air conditioning 3) bar ice maker was a life saver 4) comfy beds 5) well stocked kitchen for cooking 5) comfortable beds 6) beach towels 7) lots of fun outdoor accessories. Note: You don't have to bring anything. Includes: Multiple umbrellas, shovels, beach tent, 3 bikes/helmets, 3 beach carts, beach toys, floats, boogie boards, kayaks and more. We hope this helps the staff, fix the small needs and future residents to better enjoy their stay here.
