Both floors have wrap around decks with gorgeous views of the Gulf of Mexico, St.Vincent Island and Indian Pass Lagoon. Four bedrooms feature full bathrooms, three bedrooms have king size beds, the other bedroom has 2 twins beds. A special feature of this beautiful home is what we call the 'Great Room'. This giant Bedroom, located on the second-floor will be entered through Custom French doors. There are 2 bunk beds and one trundle bed (where the bed pulls out from the one above and sleeps 2) It also features a large screen TV with VCR and DVD capability as well as a Stereo, cassette, CD system. Bring the whole family because this 'Great Room' will allow 14 people to sleep comfortably in 3 Palms.

3 PALMS has central air-conditioning, ceiling fans, a fully equipped modern kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, ice-maker, coffee maker, disposal, and all the necessary utensils for a fully equipped and modern kitchen. There is a second refrigerator on the Ground Floor for storage and easy access to beverages from the pool area, shuffle board court and Horseshoe Pit There is a dining room table that seats 6and 6 bar stools facing the kitchen counter. Right outside the kitchen in the screened porch there is an outdoor dining table that seats six.

The two-story wraparound decks have Gorgeous views of the Gulf of Mexico with screened in areas, as well as open areas to view the unforgettable sunsets, sunrises and star gazing. All 5 bedrooms have a private entrance to the decks, where there is plenty of comfortable deck furniture to enjoy the panoramic scenes of the Gulf of Mexico, St. Vincent Island and Indian Lagoon.

The house sits on pilings and at ground level there is covered parking with a protected entrance, a outdoor shower, a screened in fish cleaning room, a Huge Industrial Size barbecue grill, and a fenced in yard with pool and fully equipped pool/patio furniture. There is a protected shuffle board court under the carport, a Custom Made Horseshoe pit and assorted outdoor games, as well.

The first floor consists of a large open living room and dining room, kitchen with island, powder room, and 2 bedrooms with baths. The second floor has two bedrooms with full bathrooms and the 'Great Room' for the kids.

We provide all linens and towels. You may want to bring extra beach towels.

While 3 PALMS is classified as a first-tier gulf View home, the huge beach at Indian Pass begins 30 ft. from the driveway. Here you will find one of the largest and widest beaches anywhere in the Cape San Blas area.

Famous St. Vincent Island is in plain view from both the house and the beach.

Because of the unique topographic features of Indian Pass Beach there are many different spots to choose from. You can hang out right next to the water or you can protect yourself in the cooler months between the natural sand dunes. You literally can walk the beach for miles. Indian Pass is one of the more popular bird watching areas in the country. Not to mention the almost daily sightings of dolphins frolicking in the water.

Bring your boats, your wave runner, your kayak, a sailboat, or rent one. There is a boat launch less than 1 mile away from 3 PALMS at the Indian Pass campground.

Here you can also stock up on supplies for fishing or snacking. St. Vincent is less than a quarter of a mile away by ferry from the Indian Pass Campground. You can rent bikes here, take the ferry across the channel and explore one of the most beautiful nature preserves found anywhere . Of course you can walk all over the island and fish or swim in total seclusion. Cars are not permitted.

Speaking of FISHING, Indian Pass has some of the best fishing you'll find anywhere. Indian pass is bordered on the East by Indian Pass Lagoon, a shallow waterbed full of many varieties of fish and home to the famous Indian Pass oyster beds. The Gulf is on the west side, and I personally have caught eight different kinds of species of fish. At the tip of Indian Pass, by the campground, there is a waterway that comes from the confluence of the Apalachicola River and Bay that goes out to the Gulf. St. Vincent Island is on the other side of this passageway. This is an ideal fishing spot because of the travel patterns of the fish feeding and going out to the Gulf. This is particularly fantastic when the breezes are high out on the gulf.

So when you leave the drive way of 3 PALMS you can turn right and enter the beach to fish or you could take a left and walk 1/4 mile to the Indian Pass Lagoon and fish, or go to the campground, and fish the protected channel. Indian Pass offers an extremely unique and diversified fishing experience, well suited for the many varieties of fish, in any kind of weather condition. The screened in fish cleaning room located at ground level is perfect for preparing your freshly caught delicacy.

If and when you get tired of fishing in this wonderful little community you can always pick up a guide and go fishing in St. Joe Bay. Presnell’s Harbor is 10 minutes away and they can fix you up with a guide, the equipment, including license, and find some great action in the bay. They will clean your catch as well, 4 hours cost $100, or so. Want to go deep Sea fishing? See link for some of the greatest deep sea fishing ever. During the season (summer) grab a bucket and go pick scallops yourself. Check out Dead Lakes, check out the Apalachicola River, where 6 rivers come together and create the greatest oyster bed in the world. The Indian Pass compound is a very quiet family oriented, people friendly place. Where you can walk the tiny neighborhood and kids can even ride their bikes. It has a very special ambiance and solitude, amidst a very, very unique opportunity to be one with nature.

A must place to eat is the world famous Indian Pass Raw Oyster Bar. Located less than a mile from 3 PALMS at C-30 and Indian Pass Road. You can't miss it, is the old dilapidated rundown gas station. Don't be deceived however; they have some of the best and freshest oysters, shrimp, crap and jambalaya you'll ever taste. You can get food to go here as well. Got more friends or family coming? Have them camp at the campground or stay at the Turtle Beach Inn located on Indian Pass Road. A wonderful bed and breakfast right on the gulf.

St. Joseph Peninsula State Park. is just minutes away from 3 PALMS and has wonderful opportunities for fishing, surfing, snorkeling, kayaking, hiking and just plain relaxing at the #1 rated beach in the Continental U.S. for 2002 .

Great Place for a Vacation    Aug 28, 2019

review star

This is a great place to go to for a vacation. The house is located in an older neighborhood which turns out to be a real asset because the houses are not on top of each other like most new neighborhoods. The house is very well maintained and the owners were wonderful at communicaing with us to make sure we were having a good time and that everything was okay. The beach was clean without houses or high-rise buildings on top of it and it was not real crowded. We will likely return for another vacation.

Great family spot    Aug 13, 2019

Three Palms is a great spot for a large family vacation. Having the private pool and shuffle board at the house was great and we played every day. Only our family and two others were all we could see on the beach-- so nice for having kids with you. Felt like we had a private beach. Peter, Kitty and Candy were all so helpful and checked in on us during our stay to ensure all was well. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a low key spot for a family vacation. Would stay again!

We recently stayed at Three Palms with our extended family including four kiddos and it was amazing! Close access to the beach, which was not crowded, and the pool were highlights for the kids. The house had everything we needed for a great vacation. The owners and on site manager were very helpful both before and during our trip. We made lots of wonderful memories!!!

Your Own Private Paradise!    Jun 11, 2019

This place is wonderful with a pretty little town you must visit Mr.Burns (owner) gave so much great information in an email before the trip love the pizza at Joe Mama’s you must go and me being from Chicago and eating tons of pizza This is great pizza! Krazyfish Grille seafood is great and the Owl Cafe is a must wonderful food. When you have to grocery shop Piggly Wiggly is close by. The house has so much room everyone has their own room and bathroom you get 2 grills that worked out great for us and the pool is great and private with the fenced in yard we brought our Shih Tzu and Golden Retriever and they had a great time in the fenced in yard plus being at the beach. They also provided beach towels, chairs and 2 kayaks! The 2 washers and the 3 dryers were life savers for doing tons of laundry. Also when we were there it was in the low 90’s with extreme humidity and the house was always perfectly cool. Everyone made sure we had everything we needed or if we needed anything Candy and Kat were wonderful stopping by with tons of information and since my cousins birthday was when we were there Candy made a Homemade German Chocolate cake to die for, she will bake or cook anything for a very reasonable price. This was our private Paradise huge house, pool and beach is only a short 4 minute walk and so nice and private there was only 2 other family’s there whenever we were at the beach but they were further away so you literally had your own private beach!! Great family vacation hoping to do again in a few months.

Peter and Lydia Burns and their staff ( Candy and Kat) have done a wonderful job with this place and supplying their renters with tons of info before the trip, thank you!

The Forgotten Coast did not disappoint!!    Apr 08, 2019

Our second stay at Two Palms and we loved every minute. So much room to spread out and relax. Many decks to choose from to enjoy sunrises and sunsets. You have everything you could need including 2 kayaks! But the best part of this house is location, location, location! You are just steps to the gorgeous beach and you practically have it to yourself. We brought our dogs and they love having the beach to themselves to run. The neighbors and locals are super friendly as is Candy, the manager. She goes above and beyond to make sure we had everything we need. She’s just a text away at any time.

Port St. Joe, Cape San Blas, Indian Pass and Apalachicola are still beautiful even after the hurricane.

We’d definitely stay here again. So much to do (or not do!!) Paradise!!

We planned a vacation with three families. We all made a conscious decision to stay in the area after the hurricane if even part of the house/area was ok, to support the community and efforts and tourism there. We are so glad we did. I could write a book, so let me try to make it shorter. We were not sure what to expect when we arrived, considering, and I say this as an avid traveler, the house is the the most well stocked house I have ever stayed in. EVERYTHING you possibly could need is in this house. If you can't find it, the manager, Candy will bend over backwards to make it happen for you. She arrived shortly after we did to walk us through, give us input on where to go locally, answer questions.. I cannot say enough great things about Candy. Each room was well kept and nice. The balconies around the house are such a nice touch, with a beautiful view to look at. The beach was incredible. NOT packed with people. It was vast and beautiful, pet friendly, people friendly...we had all the room we could ask for on the sand. We had a local company come and set up a little cabana for us each day for when the sun was too much, we rented a golf cart to ride to the beach, but please know that the tiny walk to the beach is a quick one and it's a pretty little peaceful trail. So lovely to walk to the beach each day. The large kids room was a big hit for all of our kids. They all camped up there in the numerous beds and hung out together. The living/dining and kitchen areas are new and well kept and perfect for families to gather. The pool was perfect to come back to after the beach. The grills were ready to be stacked with delicious food and the two fridges held everything we needed to do so. Kayaks available (and used!) shuffleboard, a fish cleaning room (also used! Fishing was FUN!) One side of the balcony is screened in, so nice to keep the doors on that side open at night with no random little buggies able to get in.

This house was truly incredible. There is not one thing we needed that we didn't have or couldn't get. I highly recommend this home for your next visit. Please visit the area and the surrounding communities as we did to help boost the recovery of these folks down there. The devastation was drastic and they are doing so well to repair and recover. They rely on our help to make that happen. THank you to Candy and Lydia and Peter Burns, who checked in to make sure we were doing well and had what we needed. We would definitely visit again!

Large, well stocked, close to beach    Jan 08, 2019

We stayed at 3 Palms for 7 nights over the Christmas/New Year Holidays. There were 2 families, each with 4 people, including 4 teenagers. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the weather wasn't great, but that didn't keep the kids out of the ocean! We found the kitchen to be well appointed, containing everything that we needed to cook our meals. The rooms were ample, and quite comfortable. We spent most of our time in the living/dining area together, playing cards and games and watching movies. The wifi is spotty and cell reception isn't the greatest, but that was told to us prior to our trip, and we managed just fine. The owners were fantastic, they were responsive leading up to the trip, and checked in with us to make sure that all was well while we were there. We definitely plan to return!!

Both the owner and the property manager were super kind, flexible, and helpful. The house is beautiful with very close beach access. It is a very family friendly home and location. We had ages ranging from 2 to 52 and everyone had plenty of space to be comfortable. We will definitely be returning. Thanks Peter and Candy!!
